Mutant Aliens Эта запись - оффтопик для нашего сообщества,
но полагаю, что она заинтересует многих участников.
Особенно в период временных проблем с сервером.


На днях я посмотрел очень незаурядный фильм - "Mutant Aliens".
Полтора часа анимациии в духе студии "Пилот":
много экшна, секса, безумия и черного юмора.

выложен альбом французского гитариста (чуть ранее и в ту же папку я выкладывал продукт его совместных упражнений с Bireli Lagrene)

This terrific trio brings to the table a quiet energy that smolders slowly as a
fine, aromatic cigar. Acoustic guitarist Luc is the fuse, bassist Jafet the
smoke, and drummer Ceccarelli the controlled fire. They are electrifying without
using electronics. Only a small handful of standards are included. A nicely
re-arranged 5/4 take on "A Night in Tunisia" cuts close to flamenco in its
intriguing guitar reharmonizations, "There Will Never Be Another You" is a fast
bopper, "Moon River" sports a pristine start and bossa body, while the pop tune
"This Guys in Love With You" is modified with a kinetic 4/4 Afro-Cuban groove.
In fact, the key for many of the originals is their solid groove. 6/8 informs
"Jade Et Melody" or the quicker "Chez Laurette," an easy blues shuffle walk to
waltz shifts back and forth on "Mojo," while "Roots 6406" is more of a soul
groove shuffle. A short drum solo, "Ouverture," precedes the 5/4 "Ameskeri" with
contrasting sounds delicate and shrunken by Lucs guitars, and Ceccarelli goes
it alone for four minutes on the pulsing "Requiem." Theres also the balladic to
swinging "Little Man, Youve Had a Busy Day" and the tender samba "Bella Vista."
The test of timelessness in the worth of music is in a repeated listening
process. This fine recording delivers that constant joy and consistent
freshness, time after time. Recommended. — Michael G. Nastos

Ground Zero друзья, в папке /ground zero/ лежат три альбома японского нойз-рок коллектива Ground Zero. их выложила по моей просьбе двухнедельной давности какая-то добрая душа. так вот - прошу вас не мочить эту папочку хотя бы числа до 5-го ноября, потому что в этом месяце я качать не смогу, достиг лимита :(

This has lots of old electric synthesizer sounds. With this kind of record, there is a lot of movement throughout, a lot of ups and downs. I can actually focus on the little parts. There is a lot of interesting stuff to discover on these old electronic records. For example, if you sample an old jazz or funk record, it is obvious - people know it, and there is no originality there. It doesnt come across as creative stuff. Whereas with these records, when you sample it, people dont recognize what it is or where its from. This kind of record has a lot of color. I like a lot of color tones in my music. I didnt choose it based on the cover; I looked at the year. That time for the synthesizer is old, as well. That is what I am looking for. I have many synths at home, and I cant buy any more. That is why I choose to buy records rather than buy the instrument itself.
